Mahatma Phule police have arrested two thieves for stealing a motorcycle from Mumbra area and stealing a gold chain in Kalyan Dombivali. The arrested accused are Rizwan Sheikh and Mohammad Qureshi. Police have seized 100 grams of gold jewelery and four motorcycles worth Rs 690,000 from the accused.An elderly woman was walking in the morning in Kalyan when two two-wheeler thieves stole a chain in Dhoom style. A case was registered at Mahatma Phule police station. Two innkeepers were arrested by setting a trap at Mumbra.
A total of 17 cases have been registered against them in various police stations in Thane district including Kalyan Dombivali. In order not to be caught, the two used to steal bikes for chain snatching and chain snatching on the same stolen bikes.
