India’s Defeat in the Historic Test Against England, Bairstow-Root Turned Dreams into Water.

In the fifth and final Test at Edgbaston in Birmingham, Team India suffered a humiliating seven-wicket defeat to England. England chased down 378 in the fourth innings to clinch a historic victory. With this victory, India drew the Test series against England 2-2.After 15 years, Team India reached Edgbaston with the dream of winning a Test series in England. However, these dreams were turned upside down by both Bairstow and Root of England.

England’s Joe Root and Johnny Bairstow, who set a strong target of 378 in the fourth innings, took the field by storm. Both scored centuries. Team India needed seven wickets to win on the fourth day. However, both of them did not allow the bowler of Team India to have any success. Joe Root scored 142 and Bairstow 114.

With both Bairstow and Root batting well, England successfully completed the target of 378 runs in just 77 overs. Team India challenged the rival team for over three and a half hundred runs and then lost the match like never before. However, Bairstow and Joe Root’s brilliant play made it possible.
