Gautam Adani’s Adani Group is set to enter the telecom industry. 5G mobile service 5G mobile service will be launched in the country soon. The auction of 5G spectrum has been approved by the Central Government. Accordingly, the auction is likely to be held soon. Now it has come to light that Adani Group has decided to take part in this race. With this auction, the Adani group appears to be considering entering the telecom industry.
The deadline to apply for the auction of Airwave, which is capable of providing 5G telecom service i.e. ultra-high-speed internet connectivity, is July 26. So far, four companies have applied for the auction. Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea had earlier applied for the auction. Adan Group is now the fourth company to apply for the auction.
