A 22-year-old man killed his mother and tried to commit suicide in Mumbai’s Mulund Vasant Nagar area on Saturday.
The accused, identified as Jayesh Panchal (22), tried to commit suicide by slitting the throat of his mother Chhaya Panchal in an oncoming train. Mulund police found him injured at the railway station and rushed him to JJ Hospital for treatment.
Accused Jayesh’s father is a drug manufacturer. The family was constantly arguing over some property disputes. After an argument, the accused killed his mother and attempted suicide, ”police said.
