The coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took place on June 6, 1674 at Raigad fort.
Today, June 6, 2022 marks the 348th anniversary of the coronation. The coronation ceremony of the Maharaja is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The last two years have not been celebrated with much fanfare due to Koran restrictions. But this year, due to the removal of the corona restrictions, the coronation ceremony of the Maharaja is being celebrated in a very large water body.
Many Shiva devotees have come to Raigad today for the ceremony. Today coronation ceremonies are being celebrated on a large scale in various places of Maharashtra. The whole of Maharashtra is seen roaring in the roar of Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji in the sound of drum beats
