Drugs worth Rs 250 crore found in bhuj,Gujarat

In Bhuj, Gujarat, BSF has seized drugs worth Rs 250 crore. (Border Security Force) Bhuj launched a joint search operation with Jakhau Maritime Police near Jakhau port area and seized 49 packets of drugs [probably heroin] from Sayali Bay on which 'Cafe Gourmet' was found. Is printed and marked 'Blue Sapphire 555' on drug packages.

At midnight on 30 and 31 May 2022, Coast Guard and ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) Gujarat Police intercepted a Pakistani boat and detained seven Pakistani nationals on board, during which the boat's crew threw drugs into the sea.

Assessing the situation, BSF (Border Security Force) Bhuj had speculated that drugs thrown into the sea by a Pakistani boat could enter India's territory through the waves coming from the Pakistani side.
Immediately after the incident, the BSF (Border Security Force) was on Bhuj High Alert and launched a continuous search operation. As a result, BSF (Border Security Force) Bhuj today seized 49 packets of drugs.
