Mumbai Local News: These Trains will Stop at Mahim Station for 15 Days.

To work on the curve between Bandra and Mahim on the Up and Down Harbor route.

According to the report, due to this ongoing infrastructure work, all Down Harbor trains will be allowed to leave via stop at Mahim and travel upwards via Bandra.

The decision to stop all Down Harbor trains at Mahim was implemented on Sunday, June 12 at 10.55 am at Mahim on the Up and Down Harbor route between Bandra and Mahim Junction as a shadow of the mega block of Central Railway. Up to 4.55.

In an official statement, the railway administration said that the passengers have requested the railway administration to bear the inconvenience caused by this infra block.

Elaborating further, the official said that trains starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to Goregaon / Andheri / Bandra will not stop at Mahim station on Harbor Road for at least 15 days.

In the hope of avoiding this step, WR engineers are trying to find alternatives that could inconvenience passengers for which a decision will be made in a day or two.

At present there are about 65 trains daily on Bandra / Goregaon-CSMT up and down route.
