The monsoon has started in the state. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Colaba, Mumbai, the monsoon season is expected to reach 40-50 kmph in South Maharashtra and Goa coastal areas between June 29, 2022 and July 01, 2022. It is 60 km. Strong winds have been warned.
Due to this rain in Konkan, fishermen should not go to sea during this period. Heavy to very torrential rains are expected in the district from June 28 to July 2, 2022. However, citizens should be careful and safe. The district administration has appealed to the fishermen not to go to sea for fishing.
