Youth in the Grip of Drugs.

Drug use is on the rise in many countries around the world. The middle-class youth are drawn into the trap of drug abuse, trying to find a way to forget the frustrations and failures of the fetus-rich, in search of new aghori pleasures. Without the help of relatives and friends to guide them back to the right path, their lives are wasted.

A special operation is being carried out by the Crime Branch to get the youth out of this trap. This action is being taken on the two-tier slogan ‘Janajagruti and Dosh Siddhi’.

In some cases, families are devastated by the loss of a home. So efforts are being made at all levels to break the cycle of drugs. Disrupted family arrangements also cause children in the home to become addicted to drugs. Children are left alone in the marital discord, they get paralyzed.

In many places children who are struggling to cope with such stress are addicted to drugs. Psychiatrists say that it is important for everyone in the family to have an environment where they can talk to each other freely.

Cannabis, hashish, heroin or brown sugar are widely used in drugs. The affluent, however, consume expensive cocaine, synthetic and designer drugs. Such drugs are used in rev parties. Drug overdose impairs the function of brain cells. The addicted person avoids mixing with others. Because, the intoxication of drugs does not remain pure. There are different sounds.

It loses control of bodily movements. There is no awareness of socio-economic transactions. To prevent such tragedies, June 26 is celebrated around the world as ‘Anti-Drug Day’. Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmay Pandit has appealed to the common people to have nose, eyes and ears of the police. District Information Officer Praveen Take said that initiatives in this regard will be implemented by the district administration in collaboration with various departments.
