The unborn child was beaten to death by the birth parents as the transaction was not in his possession. Both died in it. This cruel incident took place at Khadak Malegaon in Niphad taluka. The locals informed that the young man was a madman.
According to Lasalgaon police, the incident took place on Tuesday (Dec. 21) between 11.30 am. Dattatraya Ramdas Sudke (age 35) from Khadak Malegaon takes care of his mother’s house. Disputes are settled as the transaction is not in your possession. He beat his father Ramdas Anna Sudke (65) and mother Sarubai Ramdas Sudke (60) with an iron pipe.
Hearing the shouts, the villagers from the surrounding villages came running. He admitted them to the sub-district hospital in Niphad. Doctors declared both of them dead at this time. Upon receiving the information, Deputy Superintendent of Police Somnath Tambe, Assistant Inspector of Police Rahul Wagh, Kailas Mahajan, Pradip Ajage, Yogesh Shinde, Sujay Bargal and Sagar Arote rushed to the spot. Seeing the police, the suspect Dattatraya fled towards the field. However, the police chased and arrested him.
He told the police that he had killed his parents for money. Police also seized an iron pipe used in the beating. A case of murder was registered against him at Lasalgaon police station till late. The young man has got married for the second time and his wife Maheri has passed away due to a quarrel. He also has a four-year-old daughter. The twin murders have caused a stir in the area, with the son being killed by his parents.
